All I want for Christm...er... Costume College

is a 18th century frock.
After seeing [info]koshka_the_cat  and [info]mandie_rw  's new creations I NEEEEEED one. But I know there is no way I could get one done in time. Even if I dropped all other sewing. *le sigh*
I have finished the revamping of the hip seams. That is the hardest thing I have ever done in my corsetry. I say that like I have done a whole lot...*smirk*  I resewed the boning channels that were affected and added two more, sewed on six more lacing loops, and bought the twill tape.
Plans for today are: Pick out old channel stitches, attach twill tape, bone what channels I can, Grid stitch modesty pannel and bone it.

Aww, I wish I could make you an 18thc frock and send it out to you! Maybe you can fit some 18thc sewing into your post CC sewing plans? Because do I ever know how hard it is not to have time to make some costume you really, really want! :)

I am hoping to be inspired even more at CC, and come up just bursting with ideas and inspiration. I just know I am doomed to sew ever so slow. After CC though I am getting back to work on my Autumn dress and I think I will start on a 18th century yummy.
